SAP LDAP Connection Configuration

hi all,

   i need to retrieve 3 fields from sap ldap server .

    so i'm using these 2 function modules

   1.  CALL FUNCTION 'SPLDAP_RECEIVE_ATTRIBUTES'

        DESTINATION LDAPDEST_REC.

   2.  OWN_LOGICAL_SYSTEM_GET

   3.  Also checked the tables like LDAPAPPL, LDAPSERVER, LDAPUSER.

my point is that how to configure LDAP connection in SAP Landscape ?

  And after that i have to create 1 RFC , using RFC we need to pass data through NetWeaver Gateway ,

is it necessary to have all user id should be present in NetWeaver landscape ?
