Variant printing in Spool request

Hi,

I have to schedule tcode (standard report) 'S_ALR_87012172 ' as background job and send the output to spool. When I run it in background the variant I choose to execute it also becomes a part of spool output, and the report result comes after it. Downloading that spool is of no use to user as then he will have to clean the excel before usage.

I have tried setting the parameters :

- SAP Cover sheet to 'Do not print' and

- OS Cover sheet to 'Do not print'

still the variant becomes a part of spool output.

While executing the report there is a section of 'Output Variants' I need to keep 2 checkboxes checked, Detail List & Totals of All company codes.

Is there a way the variant would become a part of spool output.
