BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 / Material Variant

Hi Experts,

is it possible to control the switch of materials between material variants within the given BAPI or the SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE?

I put some salesorder into the system, but for some materials the material variant is chosen, which i don't want to.

In VA02 you can cancel the given popup window and take the given material, not the variant. Within the BAPI I haven't found a switch.

Or do I have to explicitly change the type of the position, and customize another, which does not allow material variants?
