Dear SCN Community,
My question concerns Authorization and Role Management in SAP via RFC. I would like to connect a central SAP system (where authorizations and roles are developed and maintained) to 5 different SAP System Landscapes. The central system and the 5 SAP systems need to have an open connection at all times so changes in the roles in CA are immediately reflected into the 5 SAP sytems.
Further, if the roles and authorizations are changed in the SAP system, the change needs to be reflected in the central system as well. (see file attached for more information. )
Currently, I found the following information (link below) that the systems can be connected to Central system via an RFC. Now my questions are:
1) Can this RFC remain open at all times?
2) Is it possible to have a back and forth connection i.e. not just from Central System to Production Systems but also production systems to Central Systems?
3) Can this RFC run in parallel i.e. 5 individual connections running parallel and maintaining roles and authorizations?
