Hierarchy member tech name format

Hi,

From this (MDXsyntax and concepts (3) - Hierarchies - SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse - SCN Wiki) I know that hierarchy tech names have a certain format: the first 30 characters are the characteristic tech name and the rest are the hierarchy tech name.

My question is: do the members in hierarchies obey the same rule?

I noticed that the first 32 characters are the member tech name and the rest are the characteristic tech name, or RESTH or 0HIER_NODE. Am I correct to assume this will always be the case?
