Hi folks,
I have a question about the connectivity between our 3 tiers, development, testing and production/live, when running remote comparisons.
We run se24, select am object, then utilities->versions -> version management -> public section. This brings me to the versions of the objects in the system.
Then we click remote comparison, and the option for entering a target system or an RFC equivalent for a target system. This is where we run into difficulty. When in my development system, it does not recognize the testing or production/live target system. Yet, when running this on testing or production/live, it recognizes the remote target system (either production/live, testing or development).
As a workaround, I have implemented trusted RFC connections from development to the other systems, so it does currently work. However, the underlying cause remains a mystery, which I don't like...! This previously worked before out SAP ECC system was upgraded... The connections and configuration of TMS all seem correct to me... Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
I hope my explanation is clear!
Thanks,
Michael
EDIT: Resolved! This was due to there being two domain controllers on the TMS configuration, one of which was not working. We removed the other, and put it all under one domain controller, and this worked again.
