I have a few doubt regarding Object Key generation for Web Service in IDES.
I have been deployed to project to see the feasibility of data transfer through SAP ECC6.0 to mobile interface.
Since there is not middle ware involved we are treating SAP ITS as the middle ware layer to communicate with outside world.
I have created a custom function module & in it I am fetching data from z table for username & password.
The FM is RFC enabled and upon creating a Web Service for it is always asking Object Access Key every time I activate it. (Remember as the application would proceed there will be many Web Service which will be needed to create).
I have created & seen numerous examples on SCN & other forums in my past experience, but nowhere they have mentioned to generate Object Key to activate Web Service.
Is this limited functionality of IDES system or there is something missing in system that we need to take care of like activating SOAP or other service.
